Trust : firm reliance on the integrity, ability, or character of a person or thing.
Now, if you’ve been with a person or persons for a good portion of 22 odd months, done everything (eat, sleep, laugh, cry, play, share secrets, drink, dance, fight) with a select few bunch of people, trust is invariably bound to be built up with these guys. However, on the flipside, you just might get to know these other guys a little too well to trust them in crunch situations.
Now that we’re almost done with academics and it comes down to what we primarily joined an MBA for, placements, the whole trust issue crops up again. Who do you trust in these trying times? The people you’ve been with for 22 months, your friends, or the Placement Committee, who you’ve elected and entrusted with the responsibility of placing you, or just you yourself and no one else.
